A feast of great music on the outdoor stage at the Bridgewater….


Firmly established as one of Ireland’s best touring festival bands, Bunoscionn play a home gig headlining the Bridgewater outdoor stage in Sallins.

The Kildare based band’s high octane mix of trad infused with rock, reggae and soaring vocal harmonies has captivited audiences across Ireland at festivals including Electric Picnic, Spirit of Folk, and Sunflowerfest, and across Europe from Munich to Amsterdam.


Fia Rua (singer/songwriter and actor Eoghan Burke) launches his latest E.P “Down By Digby” at this years Midsummer Festival.

The Fia Rua live show has won Burke the “Best Live Act” in previous Fringe Festivals and this gig will showcase his latest work, which he describes as “a kind of return to a pleasurable sense of being lost, a good scream at the crossroads.”


The Des Hopkins Jazzband features some of Ireland’s and the UK’s finest musicians. Over the years they have accompanied many famous international jazz artists, such the legendary Peanuts Hucko, Acker Bilk, and Kenny Ball on their Irish tours.

The band have had a long association with the Dublin Guinness Brewery, as Ireland’s Original Guinness Jazzband, they were sponsored by Guinness Ireland from 1986-2003.The band, (previously known for many years as The Cluskey Hopkins Band) play jazz festivals throughout Europe.
